Press Releases

Centrix continues to thrive

Date: 17th November 2009

Langtree has recently seen a purple patch of deals at its prestigious serviced offices at centrix@newton in Newton-le-Willows, announcing six new lettings.

McLaren Construction Ltd has taken a 4-person office on a 1-year lease.  The design and construction specialist operates in the commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and hotel sectors taking schemes from inception to completion.

David Wheeler, Group Business Development Director of McLaren Construction Ltd said: “The growth of our business has been spectacular, but controlled, and due to a new contract in the locality we decided to add to our network of offices across the country - centrix@newton offered the flexible terms for us to do this.”

The second deal sees the not-for-profit Civic Trust Awards take a 2-person office on a 2-year lease. The awards scheme was established in 1959 to recognise the very best in architecture, design, planning, landscape and public art. Awards are given to projects of the highest quality design, but only if they are judged to have made a positive contribution to the local community.

Director of Civic Trust Ltd, Malcolm Hankey said: “We looked at numerous offices before deciding to establish ourselves at centrix@newton. The professional appearance and excellent central location close to the motorway network were key factors in making our decision.”

Other new tenants who were impressed by centrix@newton’s location were tooth cell bank Bioeden Ltd and cleaning and support service company Integrated Cleaning Management, who have taken a 4-person office on a 1-year lease and 7-person office on a 2-year lease respectively.

The final two deals saw local businessman Will Ainscough relocate his existing business, W R Estates, to centrix@newton and house his new business, HIMOR Group Ltd, here too.  Will comments: “Both businesses required premises that provided a professional working environment along with access to conference and meeting rooms.  centrix@newton was the ideal solution with its modern offices and pay-as-you use conference facilities.”

centrix@newton is a two storey 15,000 sq ft building providing serviced offices on a per workstation basis for 2 to 12 persons and pay by the hour conference and meeting facilities.  The 15 self-contained offices provide accommodation from 1,270 to 3,330 sq ft or a combination providing up to 15,000 sq ft.

Vicky Sproat, Business Centre Manager for centrix@newton, added: “centrix@newton provides the area’s only state-of-the-art serviced offices and we are delighted that it continues to thrive.  We’re pleased to welcome a further six tenants, taking the building up to 83 percent occupied.”

centrix@newton is located in Newton-le-Willows and has excellent accessibility to the major road networks including the A49, A580, M6 and M62, providing links to both Liverpool and Manchester.
